Holiday and Night Medical Care in Shinjuku: Clinics, Hours, and Phone Numbers

In Shinjuku City, emergency internal medicine and pediatrics (not requiring hospitalization) are available on Saturday evenings, Sundays, public holidays, and Year-end/New Year holidays (Dec 29–Jan 3). You must always call to make an appointment before visiting. Treatment is covered by health insurance (fee-based), so bring your health insurance card and medical certificates.

What to BringMy Number Health Insurance Card (マイナ保険証), Infant/Child Medical Certificate (子ども医療証). (For Night Pediatric Clinic, also bring your hospital card for the National Center for Global Health and Medicine if you have one).
Always call before visiting to consult on symptoms. Only a 1-day supply of medication is prescribed, so visit your regular doctor the next day. Surgical issues (injuries, fractures, burns) are not treated at the pediatric clinic.

  • 持もち物もの：マイナ保険証ほけんしょう、子こども医療証いりょうしょう。夜間やかんこども診療室しんりょうしつでは、センターの診察券しんさつけんがあれば持もっていきます。
  • 気きをつけること：必かならず電話でんわしてから行いきます。薬くすりは1日にち分ぶんだけです。次つぎの日ひに、いつものお医者いしゃさん（かかりつけ医い）へ行いきます。夜間やかんこども診療室しんりょうしつでは、ケガ・骨折こっせつ・やけどは、原則げんそくとして診みていません。
