A "table" in Japanese is テーブル (tēburu). A table of data is 表 (hyō). At a restaurant, "a table for two" uses 席 (seki).

How to use it
Traditional low tables on tatami are ちゃぶ台 (chabudai) or 座卓 (zataku).
