How to say "Good morning" in Japanese

"Good morning" in Japanese is おはようございます (ohayō gozaimasu). With friends and family, おはよう (ohayō) is enough.

How to use it
In many workplaces, especially restaurants and TV, おはようございます is used as the first greeting of the shift, even in the evening.
