Reading a Japanese Dry-Cleaning Slip: Items, Accessories and Pickup

A cleaning slip records what you left at a shop. Practise checking the items, their number, accessories and the planned pickup date. The sample below is fictional; each shop has its own form and terms.

    ベルトを 1本ぽん、預あずけました。

    Read 付属品ふぞくひん, then the accessory and count. The slip says the belt is counted separately from the three garments.

  3. Q3. 10月がつ28日にちの 14時じは、仕上しあがり予定よていの 時刻じこくより 前まえですか。

    Is 2 p.m. on October 28 before the expected completion time?

    はい。予定よていは 15時じ以降いこうです。

    Find 仕上がり予定日しあがりよていび and read both the date and time. 以降いこう includes 15:00 and later. It is an expected completion time, not a guarantee.
